The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City congratulated and commended Sidney Mel Aldeguer Flores for placing first in the March 2023 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination.
The resolution authored by Councilor Em Ang, Israel Salanga and Lady Gles Pallen, said Flores of Barangay Villamonte, brought honor and prestige to Bacolod City for passing the March Medical Technologist Licensure Examination with a rating of 92.10 percent, placing first among 6,165 examinees.
Flores graduated valedictorian in secondary education from the University of St. La Salle Integrated School. He is the first student who graduated summa cum laude in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the Colegio de San Agustin, it said.
He has undoubtedly made a mark through his exemplary scholastic record and outstanding achievement, drive, determination and leadership, and these attributes are worthy of emulation and will serve as an inspiration for young people to aspire for excellence in their chosen field of endeavor, the resolution said.
Sidney is the son of Villamonte Barangay Captain Rommel Flores and Venus Aldeguer-Flores of Villamonte, it said.
The Sangguniang Panlungsod joins the whole city in congratulating Sidney Mel Flores who has made Bacolodnons proud of his outstanding performance in the March 2023 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination, the resolution added.*
