Japeth Aguilar is seeking to preserve his perfect mark in the PBA All-Stars.

The captain of the team bearing his name vows to retain the bragging rights in the main game of the mid-season festivities by any means as it eyes a win against Team Mark Sunday at the University of St. La Salle gymnasium.

With Tim Cone at the helm, Team Japeth edged out Team Scottie of coach Yeng Guiao, 140-136, in last year’s All-Star edition in Passi City, Iloilo.

Cone is reunited again with Aguilar this season, while Gallent, the champion coach of San Miguel, will be the one calling the shots for Team Mark.

Mark Barroca said his unit will give Team Japeth a competitive fight especially after Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez promised to give them a special incentive should they emerge victorious.

Commissioner Willie Marcial and deputy Eric Castro joined Aguilar, Barroca, Gallent, and Mayor Benitez during the press conference.*PBA.PH
