A total of 1,166 Victorias City scholars received educational assistance worth P5,000 from the Office of Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez at the Victorias City Coliseum on March 16.
The payout covered the first and second semesters of Academic Year 2023-2024.
Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the activity and delivered a message to all beneficiaries.
He was joined by Vice Mayor Abelardo Bantug III and city councilors.
According to a press release, the Office of the City Mayor regularly distributes cash assistance to deserving Victoriahanon students from public and private schools per school year, where each semester, they are given P2,500 individually.
The distribution of educational assistance is in coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Victorias City.*
