Policemen have confiscated about P200,000 worth of suspected shabu and dried marijuana leaves in separate buy-bust operations on September 25 and 26, respectively, in Bacolod City.
A drug suspect identified as Reymart Esporas was apprehended by the City Drug Enforcement Unit led by PLt. Joven Mogato on Sept. 26 at Purok Grasya in Brgy. Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.
The arrest of Esporas, alias Mart, 20, yielded an estimated P27 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P183,600 and P1,000 in marked money.
Another buy bust operation on Sept. 25 at Purok Magsungay in the same barangay also led to the arrest of Ernesto and Ynaque Claridad that also yielded about 210 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves and P500 in marked money.
The apprehension of Kim RJ Estrada, 19, in another buy bust operation on Sept. 26 at Purok Malinawon in Brgy. Bug-ang, Toboso, also yielded 0.17 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1,156 and P500 in marked money.
On the other hand, the arrest yesterday of Joven Palma, 23, of Brgy. Taculing, EB Magalona, for violation of curfew ordinance in Hacienda Tinihaban 1, Brgy San Jose, EB Magalona, yielded two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P3,400, police said.*
