The towns of Candoni, Don Salvador Benedicto, and Pulupandan in Negros Occidental are Covid-19 free, with no active case reported as of Dec. 28, the Provincial Incident Management Team reported.
Meanwhile, San Carlos City had the most number of active cases with 18, followed by Sagay City – 16, and Isabela – 15, the PIMT report added.
Negros Occidental had 225 active cases, as of Dec. 28, compared to 272 two days earlier, the PIMT also said.
Bacolod City had 74 active cases for the same period.
The towns and cities with low numbers of active cases are Sipalay City – 1, Moises Padilla – 3, Manapla, Murcia, Pontevedra, Ilog, Binalbagan, and Bago City – 4 each, and EB Magalona – 5.
Other areas in Negros Occidental with active cases are Cauayan – 12, Victorias City, Talisay City, Kabankalan City, Hinigaran, and Himamaylan City – 10 each, Cadiz City – 9, Calatrava, Escalante, Valladolid, and Toboso – 8 each, Hinobaan – 7, San Enrique – 6. Of the 6,410 confirmed cases in Negros Occidental, 5,990 have already recovered with 195 deaths, from March 27 to Dec. 28 this year, the PIMT report added.*
