Six personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office received medals from PNP chief PGen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., for meritorious accomplishments in the performance of their duty, on November 10 at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.
The recipients of Medalya ng Kadakilaan (PNP Distinguished Conduct Medal) were Maj. Joery Puerto, Police Station 8 commander; PLt. Joven Mogato, chief of the BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit; PSSg Jimedel Dellonardo; PSSg Roberto Jiballa Jr.; PSSg Frederick Fronda and PSSg Jefferson Nueva, in recognition for their significant accomplishments in separate drug buy bust operations in Bacolod City.
Azurin visited PRO6 on Nov. 10 for the Local Peace Engagement Teams meeting, which was attended by the various stakeholders in Western Visayas, with the aim of strengthening the fight against terrorism and all forms of criminality in the region.
He also congratulated the awardees and expressed his satisfaction for the continuous conduct of anti-illegal drugs operations in the campaign against all forms of criminality.
“Indeed your sterling accomplishments contributed so much to the nation-building of our government. We greatly appreciate and value your everyday hard work and services,” Azurin said in a statement.*
