Central Negros Electric Cooperative received the “Lowest Residential Rate” Award for Electric Cooperatives (ECs) in Visayas during the recently-conducted “Golden Dagitab” Awards, a press release from Ceneco said.
The award was given by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) Friday in Quezon City, the press release added that this is great news for residents including businessmen within Ceneco’s coverage area.
NEA recognized Ceneco for giving utmost priority on the best interest and welfare of the member-consumer-owners (MCOs) by having the lowest residential rate without sacrificing the power utility’s financial and operational viability.
Ceneco was also a recipient of the “EC with Advanced Payment to NEA”, “EC with Fully Liquidated Subsidy Fund”, “Rural Electrification Program Distinction”, “Outstanding EC” and “Best Region of the Year (Region VI)” awards.
The awards were personally received by Ceneco Board president Dwight A. Carbon, acting general manager Ervin Stan Leo P. Ticar, and NEA project supervisor Cesar Faeldon.
