The Department of Trade and Industry in Negros Occidental has adopted a work-from-home scheme effective this week to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease.

Rachel Nufable, DTI Negros Occidental director, in an advisory on August 18, said they will observe this scheme until further notice.

She said that business name registration and renewal can be done online through its platform at https://bnrs.dti.gov.ph.

For requests and urgent concerns, one can email the DTI provincial office at r06.negrosoccidental@dti.gov.ph, or contact 0917-7169395.

Meanwhile, the public can continue to access various frontline services and information on DTI’s platforms.

Aside from online applications for business name registration, those interested can also enroll in Small and Medium Enterprises short courses available online, monitor concerns on investments, cooperative name reservations, claim settlements, and intellectual property.

Nufable said they will continue to provide the best assistance to the public despite the pandemic.*MPE
