Bacolod curfew suspensions set

Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia issued an executive order suspending the implementation of curfew hours in Bacolod City on December 24, 25 and 31.

Executive Order No. 60, series of 2021 or an order extending the period of Alert Level 2 in Bacolod City from December 16 until 31, provides that the curfew hours/non-social period will be suspended on Dec. 24, 25 and 31 only. Provided that any future application, implementation, or regulation of the curfew hours/non-social period in line with other customs and traditions of Filipinos will be subject to the issuance of a separate executive order.

The order also provides that for the period of Alert Level 2 System, the rules and regulations in the selling of liqour, wine, beer or any alcoholic or intoxicating beverage in public places and the selling and/or consumption of such alcoholic beverages in authorized public places will be allowed only from 12 noon to 10 p.m.

Under Alert Level 2, intrazonal and interzonal travel into and out of Bacolod will be subject to the presentation of the vaccination card of the traveler duly issued by the local government unit (LGU) of origin, Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), or any government agency, national or international, duly authorized to issue such vaccination credentials, the order said.

Travelers who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival in Bacolod City, it said.

Casinos, horse racing, cockfighting and operation of cockpits, lottery and betting shops, and other gaming establishments will not be allowed to operate, or be undertaken in Bacolod City except as may be authorized by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) or the Office of the President, the order said.

These establishments, or activities, will be allowed to operate, or be undertaken at the following: a maximum of 50 percent indoor venue capacity for fully vaccinated individuals only and those below 18 years of age, even if unvaccinated; and 70 percent outdoor venue capacity. Provided that all its workers/employees are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and minimum health standards will be strictly maintained, it added.*
