Buy busts yield guns, shabu

Separate buy bust operations on September 7 in Negros Occidental led to the seizure of guns with ammunition and suspected shabu from four arrested suspects, police said.

Nabbed during a buy bust operation at Purok Roadside, Brgy. Bagonawa, San Enrique, conducted by operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, intelligence operatives of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Maritime Command and local police personnel were Rodeco Tapel and Waynejun Deniega.

The apprehension of two suspects led to the recovery of a .45 caliber pistol with a magazine containing six ammunition, a .38 caliber revolver with three ammunition, P100 in marked money, P27,500 boodle money and a holster.

Another buy bust operation also resulted to the arrest of Daisy Rose Patricio and Eden Lagutan at Villa Victorias in Brgy. 13, Victorias City.

The arrest of two suspects yielded 1.5 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P10,200, assorted shabu paraphernalia, P500 in marked money, and an improvised 12-gauge shotgun.*
