Carlos Hilado Memorial State University’s National Service Training Program – Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) ranked first in Region 6 during the Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI) held at the University Football Field, Talisay (Main) Campus on June 11.
The RAATI is an annual competition among state universities and colleges in the region that serves as a platform to showcase the skills and knowledge acquired from the ROTC program.
The evaluation was conducted by the RAATI team headed by chairperson LTC Danny Bustamante of the 6th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command of the Philippine Army. LTC Nathaniel Villasor, ROTC commandant, turned-over the unit to the RAATI team for the inspection.
CHMSU received an overall score of 92.07 percent in inspection, which covered the evaluation of commandant and staff, arrival of honors, ceremonial parade, inspection in ranks, close order drill, military stakes, basic life support, and a comprehensive examination.
Norberto Mangulabnan, president; Jay Estrellas, vice president for academic affairs; and Elmer Gumban, NSTP director, and other administrators, faculty, and students of the university witnessed the event.*
