The Department of Trade and Industry Negros Occidental will conduct a provincial Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) summit today at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.
Engiemar Tupas, OIC chief of DTI-Negros Occidental Industry Division, said the entrepreneurs will be oriented on SME development and financing programs for entrepreneurs.
He said some DTI-Go Negosyo Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) mentees will also share their experiences as entrepreneurs to inspire current and would-be entrepreneurs.
The seminar that will be conducted virtually will also tackle the national SME Development Plan, business digitalization and e-commerce, and the Bayanihan II cares program.
Tupas said the summit aims to empower SMEs through the provision of information related to enterprise development.
Meanwhile, several young entrepreneurs attended a digital marketing seminar, also at L’Fisher Hotel. The seminar aims to inform entrepreneurs on how they can market their products and services using the latest digital technology.*
