Barangay Cabanbanan was hailed the grand champion of this year’s Himaya Festival street dance and arena competition held at Himamaylan National High School in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Sunday.
It also won Best in Production Design and Most Supportive Group.
Barangay Nabali-an was adjudged the first runner-up, and also bagged the special awards Best in Choreography, Best in Street Dance, and Best in Costume.
Barangay Mambagaton and Barangay Tooy won second and third places, respectively. Barangay Aguisan bagged the Best in Concept Award.
The Best in Muse was given to Barangay Caradioan, while Barangay Mambagaton and Barangay 1 were second and third places respectively.*
