VMC starts vaccinating their employees and constituency against Covid-19, and expects to inoculate everyone at the mill, including third-party contractors, by this week*

The Lucio Tan Group Inc. will open its 10th vaccination site at the Po Hang Gym of the Bacolod Taytung High School today, as it intensifies efforts to inoculate its employees and service providers against the coronavirus disease 2019.

Over 1,100 people are scheduled to be vaccinated starting today until Saturday, including employees from Tanduay Distiller Inc. plant in Murcia, Philippine National Bank, and personnel from Asia Brewery, PMFTC Inc., Asian Alcohol Corporation, Allianz PNB Life, Philippine Airlines, and MacroAsia Corporation, a press release said.

On Tuesday, the group’s vaccination site at the Victorias Milling Company in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, also inoculated employees of the plant and other workers of the group in the area.

VMC, in a press release, said yesterday that it started the vaccination program for their employees, service providers, family and household members at the mill site.

It thanked their partners, the LTG and Zuellig Pharma, for facilitating the procurement of AstraZeneca vaccines.

By the end of this week, over 2,000 members of the VMC community will have been inoculated, the press release said.

LTG is planning to open 20 vaccination sites nationwide.*
