Negros Oriental History and Heritage Society held its fourth meet on May 15, at Café Mamia in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Discussed during the meeting were the May 18 International Museum Day, May 27 National Flag Week, May 28 Heritage Clean-Up Drive, June 14 Kapihan sa PIA, membership update and the Buglas Reading Club session.
The group aims to elevate Dumaguete City into the hub for history and heritage in Negros Oriental and to be an effective professional portal linking relevant organizations, programs, information and activities so that the public can confidently access historians and historical resources, and strengthen the history sector by networking and cooperation.*
