Ram Partylist is allotting P4.7 million for the establishment of a multi-purpose building with a stage in Brgy. Pahanocoy, Bacolod City, Captain Yolanda Noble told the DAILY STAR yesterday.
Noble said the construction will start anytime soon after they held the groundbreaking ceremony Monday, attended by Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, who represented Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
She said the building will serve as venue for the activities of the barangay, and is expected to be completed in 100 days, or between three to four months, based on the projection of the contractor.
Noble also said the project materialized through the efforts of the late Metro Manila Development Authority chief and former Ram Partylist representative Danilo Lim, and his wife, Aloisa.
Gasataya, meanwhile, assured Noble of additional projects for Pahanocoy this year. These include a public market, repair and construction of roads, and a water system facility, among others. Noble said she still needs to submit documentary requirements for budget allotment.*
