An alleged member of a local drug group was arrested by the police yesterday during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Dacutan Dacu, Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed was Marlon Laguda, 38, an alleged member of the Divinagracia drug group, the police said.
His arrest yielded six grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P40,800, and P500 in marked money.
Two other drug suspects, identified by the police as Jenover Gallo and Joerry dela Cruz, were arrested Thursday in Brgy. Minapasok, Calatrava.
The police said 1.06 grams of suspected shabu, worth P7,208, drug paraphernalia, P200 in cash, and P500 in buy-bust money were seized during the operation.
The arrest of Gerald Manalo in another buy-bust operation in Brgy. Batuan, La Carlota City, yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, P500 in marked money, and a knife.*
