Outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte arrived last night in Negros Occidental to visit his “close friends.”
The Yanson family hosted a private dinner for President Duterte at their family-owned resort in Talisay City.
He was welcomed by matriarch Olivia Yanson, siblings Leo Rey and Ginette Yanson-Dumancas.
Among the local chief executives who attended the dinner was Himamaylan City Mayor Raymund Tongson.
It was a sort of a “thanksgiving activity,” according to one those invited to the private dinner, whose identity was withheld. The dinner was also attended by officials of Vallacar Transit Incorporated.
The term of Duterte as the 16th Philippine president, ends on June 30.*
