RC Bacolod provides safe, potable water

The “Tubig Para Sa Barangay 3.0” launching in Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City Saturday*

The Rotary Club of Bacolod continues to provide clean and safe potable water to recipient communities all over the City, its press release said.

Now in its third year, the “Tubig Para Sa Barangay” project is in partnership with the Liga ng mga Barangay, Mr. and Mrs. Sy Boon Pit, and the late Bacolod City Councilor Elmer Sy.

The project turnover and distribution of grocery packs were held in Hda. Carmen, Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City on July 3, led by Rotary District 3850 past governor Edgar Sy, RC Bacolod Life Changing president Pauline Cuaycong, club secretary and past president Frederick Anthony de Leon, assistant treasurer Michelle Medrano, Rotarians Kyle Bravo and Mae Eras, incoming baby Rotarians Kia Paredes, Chelah Corpus, Emily Cuaycong, Shine Genzola, Edlyn Agraviador, and Joy Racasa, and officials of Brgy. Granada.

The club said it served 55 communities during RY 2019-2020, and 42 communities this RY 2021-2022, the press release added.*
