Gun enthusiasts will have the chance to show their skills on October 8 and 9 at the first “Rolando ‘Boboy’ Corona” shoot fest at the newly-opened SAP Outdoor Shooting Range in Bacolod City’s Reclamation Area.

The two-day fest, a fund raiser for the Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara, promises to be an exciting, fun and competitive event.

It will feature six stages of short and long firing courses and three categories: Classic, Production and Standard. The categories are determined primarily by the configuration of a competitor’s firearm.

The shoot fest is open to all shooters. Registration is P700 per shooter (P500 for lawmen). Gun hire is available to those with knowledge of gun safety.

“The golden rule for a successful Rotary fund-raiser is to make it fun and thrilling. This shoot-for-a-cause event is going to be that and more! The SAP range is a great venue and we look forward to welcoming gun enthusiasts from far and wide,” said immediate past Marapara Rotary president, Rolando Corona.

Special guests will be the Viray brothers – Akeem, Kahlil, Kareem. They are the country’s top shooters. Kahlil was the 2017 Junior World Practical Shooting Champion. He and his brothers will be on hand throughout the event to talk guns.

Registration for the event starts at 8am on both days. For more information, please contact Bob Delamar on 09913260657.*
