The staff at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City who have tested positive for COVID-19 hit 29 yesterday, Dr. Julius Drilon, CLMMRH chief, said last night.
He said eight doctors, four nurses and 17 non-medical support staff at the hospital have tested positive for the virus, and 113 personnel are now in quarantine.
Meanwhile, the CLMMRH has temporarily suspended admission of probable COVID-19 patients until further notice, he said.
The hospital has already reached its full capacity allocated for admission of COVID-19 patients who are in moderate to critical condition, he said.
“We shall resume admissions as our beds become available,” he said.
The COVID-19 unit staff of the hospital are intact, they have not been hit by the virus, he assured.*
