Negros Occidental Provincial Election Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria yesterday confirmed that he has been reassigned to Iloilo as the incoming provincial election officer.

Ananoria said that he will be replaced by Aklan Provincial Election Supervisor Robert Salazar.

PCol. Leo Pamittan also formally assumed yesterday command of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office in a ceremony held at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City, which presided over by regional police director PBrig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo.

Ten police chiefs in Negros Occidental also assumed their respective positions effective yesterday.

PCol. Adrian Acollador, previously assigned at NOCPPO, is now the acting provincial police director of Iloilo. He was also installed yesterday with new provincial police directors of Guimaras, Antique, and Capiz, aside from Negros Occidental.

The reshuffling of Comelec and ranking police officials in Region 6 was reportedly in connection with the conduct of May 9 synchronized elections this year.*
