The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said yesterday that it has dismantled another drug den during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City.
The buy-bust operation resulted in the arrest of seven suspects and the recovery of about 11 grams of suspected shabu, worth P74,800, and its paraphernalia.
The PDEA report identified those arrested as Romeo Gain, alias Nonoy, allegedly the drug den maintainer, Romy, Ronnie and Jupiter Valenzuela, and Marvic, Rico, and Reymart Dela Torre.
A day earlier, the PDEA agents also dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested eight suspects in a similar operation in Purok Cheriza II, Brgy. 27, Bacolod City.
The operatives also seized about 12 grams of suspected shabu, worth P81,600, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money, from Rigor Diaz, the suspected drug den maintainer, Rona Rose Calabon, Jonathan Aguillon, Romeo Legaspi, Michael Milendez, Samuel Bautista, Niño Sulitas, and John Harven Delfin. The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
