Six more drug suspects have been accounted for by the police in simultaneous anti-drug operations on November 29 in Negros Occidental, yielding almost P367,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Nirmla Lucot, alias Inday, during a buy bust operation on Tuesday at Purok Jose Rizal in Brgy. 14, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of Lucot, 45, categorized by the police as a Street Level Individual in illegal drug operations, yielded an estimated 26 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P176,800, marked money of P1,000 and P200 in cash.
Four other drug suspects were also apprehended by the police in another buy bust operation also on Tuesday at Ylagan Extension in Brgy. 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Nabbed were Charles Castro, Jason Sabellano, Orly Escuadro and Christian Fajardo, all residents of San Carlos City.
The apprehension of four drug suspects yielded about 20 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P136,000.
Another drug suspect identified as Clement Hojilla, 49, was also apprehended by the police in a buy bust operation at Center Ville in Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City.
The arrest of Hojilla yielded an estimated eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54,400, P1,671 in cash believed to be proceeds from sale of illegal drugs and a Suzuki multi cab, police records showed.*
