The Police Regional Office 6 is on its way full vaccination of its 13,467-strong police force in Western Visayas, with 13,179 of its 13,467 personnel already inoculated with the different brands of COVID-19 vaccines.
This constitutes 97.86 percent of PRO 6 already inoculated, with 11,119 fully vaccinated while 2,060 got their first dose, according to a report of the PNP Health Service.
There are still 192 who are unvaccinated with 96 others who have waivers, the report added.
Of the vaccinated police personnel, a total of 1,783 assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Bacolod City Police Office – 739, Aklan PPO- 1,191- Antique PPO- 952, Capiz PPO -1,176, Guimaras PPO -329, Iloilo City Police – 708, Iloilo PPO- 1,909, Regional Headquarters – 2,601 and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6- 897.
The PNP Health Service also logged 45 personnel infected by the virus as of October 17. Nine of them are assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and four at the Bacolod City Police Office.*
