Birthdays are special days for everyone who celebrates it. It makes the celebrant feel loved when special things are done for them.

Birthdays call for celebration. It is one day where families get to see loved ones in one place. No one can usually excuse themselves and when everyone gets to spend time under one roof, it is nothing short of magical.

Garbed in a black and red ensemble, Roy Villar Cajilig has his special moment when he celebrated his 57th birthday at L’Sea in Bacolod City on February 10. Roy is the owner of RVC Events Production that produced the Mr. and Miss Teen MassKara pageants, and he is also the founder of RVC Foundation.

Rev. Fr. Sarjit Xalxo started the celebration with a short prayer and blessed all the attendees. Roy’s close friends and family had a great time enjoying the sumptuous dinner served, while he was serenaded by Ralph Aljohn Barreto.

To keep everyone entertained, two Negrenses, who were finalist in the Tawag ng Tanghalan competition – Andrey Magada and online sensation Carl Malone Montecido – rendered song numbers to the delight of the attendees.

The celebrant had a blast! He said he didn’t want it to end as he thanked everyone who graced the occasion.

Prior to the celebration, Roy and his team spent time with the children of Purok Tapulanga, Brgy. Taculing in Bacolod City where they conducted a feeding activity.*
