A white 58th birthday bash at the hacienda

Ilog town’s fashionista Councilor Mark John Vargas recently celebrated his 58th birthday in a white-themed party of glitz and glamour.

Set at their hacienda house, family and friends arrived from everywhere, bringing them to the middle of the sugarcane plantation in the mountain area of Sitio Mangga, Barangay Guiljungan in Cauayan.

Accoutered in all white Versace, Councilor Mark, the former vice mayor of Ilog, welcomed the guests with champagne while dancing to the beat of a ‘patik patik’ band.

The attendees enjoyed the delicious food catered by Bascon, paired with the sumptuous seafood of Ilog, while entertainment was delightfully provided by an acoustic band.

Added entertainment to the grand affair were balladeer Kerwin Uy – an international winner of WCOPA held in USA, and Jaya the Comedian. A fashion show featuring the summer collections of Steve Genzola, an Ilognon fashion designer based in Bacolod City, also added elegance to the occasion.*
