The Land Transportation Office – Western Visayas yesterday awarded 26 personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office with certificates of commendation for their valuable assistance extended to the agency.
P/Lt. Col. Sherlock Gabana, BCPO spokesperson, disclosed that the commendation was given by the LTO-Region 6 in appreciation and recognition for the successful operation conducted by the BCPO operating units against Anti-Fixing Operations in Bacolod City.
The distribution of certificates of commendation to 26 BCPO personnel was led by LTO assistant regional director Gaudioso Geduspan II, assisted by P/Col. Joseph Martir, BCPO officer-in-charge.
The awardees were headed by PL.Col. Edel Jose Manzano and Maj. Ramel Sarona.
Martir extended his gratitude to the LTO-Region 6 for giving such recognition to deserving BCPO personnel.
At the same time, Martir assured LTO regional office of a more coordinated effort and cooperation with other law enforcement agencies in the implementation of the rules and regulations affecting peace and order and public safety in Bacolod City.*
