The simultaneous buy-bust operations in the cities of Silay and Bago in Negros Occidental yesterday led to the recovery of about P110,000 worth of suspected shabu and the apprehension of four drug suspects who are now in jail.
Nabbed during a buy-bust operation at Bangga PLDT in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, were Perlito Delegero and Darius Imperial.
The apprehension of the two suspects yielded about nine grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P61,200, P500 in marked money, a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver and a Suzuki motorcycle, Maj. Rollie Pondevilla, Silay City police chief said, in his report to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
Another buy-bust operation in Sitio Golf, Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City, led to the arrest of Jonathan Figueroa, a resident of Freedom Boulevard in Brgy. Mambulac, also in Silay City.
The apprehension of Figueroa yielded seven grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P47,600 and its paraphernalia, P500 in marked money, and a Samsung keypad.
Policemen also arrested a laborer identified as Davin Agana in another buy-bust operation at Crossing Camatis in Brgy. Sampinit, Bago City, that also yielded P2,000 worth of suspected shabu, P300 in marked money, a cellular phone and P90 in cash.*
