Policemen yesterday recovered an estimated P163,000 worth of suspected shabu from a drug suspect arrested during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.
PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police, identified the apprehended suspect as Mark Lester Andag, alias Edfer Jover, of Brgy. 6, Victorias City.
Indiape disclosed that the apprehension of Andag by the Police Station 8 Drug Enforcement Team yielded about 20 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P163,000 and P500 in marked money.
On May 11, policemen also apprehended March Boy Infante at Purok Masinadyahon, Brgy Binicuil, Kabankalan City, by virtue of an arrest warrant for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua.
During his arrest, the police recovered two sachets of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia.*
