Negros Occidental is preparing for an influx of locally stranded individuals with the expected lifting of the moratorium on their entry this week, Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian, Provincial Disaster Management Program Division chief, said.
He said the return of the LSIs could include those from Cebu after Wednesday.
The provincial government and the local government units have been clearing their quarantine facilities of LSIs with the release of their Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) negative test results.
All incoming LSIs will be quarantined and tested for COVID-19, he said.
COVID-19 positive patients who are asymptomatic will be brought to the EB Magalona Healing Center and those who are symptomatic will be brought to the Cadiz District Hospital, he said.*
