The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office yesterday honored outstanding units and personnel during the traditional flag raising ceremony at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
Given recognition were the NOCPPO Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit, respectively headed by PMaj. Ness Vargas and PLt. Col. James Latayon, for being top performers in Western Visayas for the month of September, based on the Regionwide Unit Performance Rating.
A plaque of recognition was also given to the Cadiz City Police Station led by PLt. Col. Gil John Despi, Police Executive Master Sergeant Nanette Laurilla.
Brigid Tan, the guest of honor during the awarding rites, was assisted by PCol. Leo Pamittan in distributing the plaques of recognition.*
