Fire investigators are looking into the cause of fire that damaged a two-storey house in Greenplains Subdivision, Brgy. Alijis, Bacolod City yesterday morning.
Reports from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Bacolod showed that the fire started on the second floor of the house of Keith Jaranilla Cepeda at about 7:14 a.m. It was placed under control by firefighters at about 7:26 a.m.
Initial investigation showed that the fire started from a ceiling fan that could have overheated. Further investigation is being conducted to determine the actual cause.
The BFP estimated the cost of damage at P75,000. No one was reported injured from the incident.*
