PNP chief honors 14 WV policemen

Lt.Col. Robert Mansueto, Cadiz City police chief, receives a Medalya ng Kagalingan from PNP chief Gen. Francisco Gamboa, in recognition of his accomplishment for the arrest of a suspected NPA leader in northern Negros.*

A city police chief and four others assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Bacolod City Police Office, were among the 14 police personnel honored yesterday during the visit of PNP chief General Archie Francisco Gamboa to Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.

PLt. Col. Robert Mansueto, Cadiz City police chief, and PSSgt Angelo Abong were both conferred yesterday with Medalya ng Kagalingan by Gamboa, for the arrest of ranking New People’s Army leader Gaspar Davao for illegal possession of explosives and for violation of community quarantine.

PSSgt. Julieben Niniel, a member of the Toboso Police Station, also received a Medalya ng Papuri, for extending help and carrying on his back a senior citizen who is a Person With Disability, and Patrolmen Von John Ray Moralda and Raul Lopez, both assigned at the BCPO, for demonstrating exemplary performances.

Recipients of Medalya ng Kagalingan were Negrense PCol. Julio Gustilo Jr., officer-in-charge of the Capiz Police Provincial Office for his Bayanihan Project, Lt. Col. Victorino Romanillos, for his PRO 6 Bayanihan sa Kampo Delgado Project, PCol. Kenneth Lucas, OIC of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office for Bayanihan Kiosk project and PCapt. Peter John Pisuena of Capiz PPO.

Also awarded with Medalya ng Kagalingan was Capt. Larnel Frial of Capiz PPO for the arrest of number two most wanted person of Capiz,and Medalya ng Papuri for PLt. Nelson Caro, Patrolman Karl Francis Boston and PCMSgt. Dulcinea Bacinilio.

Gamboa, according to PRO6 spokesman Col. Gilbert Gorero, congratulated the awardees for the job well done.

“To the officers, men and women of PRO6 may you remain steadfast and resilient in fighting our war against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, terrorism and other criminal activities, Gamboa said.

The PNP chief also led the inauguration and blessings of various newly-constructed and renovated infrastructures inside Camp Martin Delgado.*
