Request for limited F2F classes approved

The Emergency Operations Center has approved the request of additional schools in Bacolod City to hold limited face-to-face classes.

EOC executive director Em Ang said they have also approved the clearances requested by the schools to hold graduation rites since Bacolod City is under Alert Level 1.

Ang said that some schools in the primary level under the Department of Education have limited learners to 16 per classroom and others to 20 learners per classroom.

Councilor Renecito Novero said the schools favorably acted upon by the Sangguniang Panlungsod to hold face-to-face classes are Apolinario Mabini Elementary School (ES), Rafael Alunan ES, Teofilo M. Gensoli Sr. National High School (NHS), Emilia J. Garcia ES, Negros Occidental High School, Romanito Maravilla Sr. NHS, Alberto D. Arceo Sr. ES, Luis Hervias NHS, Cabug NHS, Andres Bonifacio II ES, Paglaum NHS,

Angela Gonzaga NHS, Emiliano Lizares NHS, Corazon L. Montelibano ES, Alangilan Farm School, Education and Training Center School III, Handumanan ES, Paglaum Village ES, and Singcang Airport NHS.

Novero said the additional schools that requested for SP action are ETCS III – Kindergarten to Grade III, and Brgy. Singcang Airport NHS – Grade 9 to 12.*
