Senior citizens associations in the cities of Kabankalan and San Carlos, and the municipalities of Cauayan and Hinobaan received photocopier units from the provincial government.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the turnover of the machines, which will provide the senior citizens additional income, at the Capitol grounds in Bacolod City yesterday.
Merlie Garcia, officer-in-charge of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, said assigned personnel will be trained to operate the machine to ensure proper maintenance.
The units were received by the social welfare officers of the LGUs and presidents of their respective Federation of Senior Citizens Association.*
