The United Negros Alliance will have its assembly on December 4 in Bago City, Negros Occidental, which is to be participated in by 183 UNegA candidates.
UNegA secretary general Salvador Escalante Jr. disclosed that invited are its congressional aspirants down to the councilors.
“This means it does not include party members,” Escalante said.
Second District congressional aspirant Sagay City Mayor Alfredo Marañon, who is unopposed, is the UNegA chairman, with Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer as the local party president.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, who is affiliated with Love- Negros, confirmed earlier his attendance to the assembly, and former Rep. Alfredo Benitez was also invited.
Escalante said that event will be a general assembly of the party and renewal of membership.
UnegA has yet to announce its presidential bet in the May 2022 elections.
However, Marañon earlier said that UNegA will have a common presidential candidate.*
