Four personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office received awards and commendations from the Police Regional Office 6 in recognition of their contributions to the over-all accomplishments of the Philippine National Police in Western Visayas.
PCapt. Elmer Bonilla, Police Station 7 commander of BCPO, and PSSgt. Edlyn Villan were conferred with Medalya ng Kagalingan for their anti-illegal drugs campaign accomplishments, while PLt. Edward Bolivar, formerly assigned at the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company, got the Medalya ng Kasanayan for his contributions in the anti-terrorism campaign of the BCPO.
The awarding rites was held during the traditional flag raising ceremony on July at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City, with Priscilla Escobin, regional director of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 6, as the guest of honor and speaker.
Escobin, who pinned the medals on outstanding police officers, congratulated the awardees for their selfless efforts and sacrifices in delivering services to the community.
On the same day, PLt. Col. Mary Rose Salve Pico, chief of the BCPO Administrative Resource Management Unit (CARMU), also received a commendation from PCol. Thomas Joseph Martir, BCPO director, for her outstanding performance that greatly contributed in the over-all unit rating of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD) PRO6, nationwide for the month of June 2022.*
