After a three-year hiatus, alumni of the oldest public secondary school in Negros Occidental formerly called Rizal Institute and Bacolod High School, returned to campus on April 29 to be part of the 60th General Alumni Homecoming of Negros Occidental High School.
The host classes – 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 led the motorcade alongside the Negros Occidental High School Alumni Association, Inc.
A 90s Zumba was held simultaneously in front of the NOHS main building featuring alumni ZINs or Zumba instructors.

Ma. Lina Jocson (1971), Meriam Decena (1975, Jay Velas (1997) represented by Ludie De Luna, Fee Vee Joie Buenacosa (2006) and Yasmin Pascual-Dormido of the Pearl Jubilarians – Grupo Noventai Tres.
The event was organized by classes ’95, ’96, ’97 and ’98 and supported by instructors and Zumba Fitness groups from different parts of Bacolod and the province. Graduates, Zumba enthusiasts and guests had a blast dancing and sweating out to hit tracks of the 90s and the present.
After the motorcade and the 90s Zumba event organized by the host classes, NOHS graduates spent the day in fellowship with former classmates and schoolmates in designated classrooms. Every class did not miss the opportunity to take their class photo at the I Love NOHS marker which is a legacy project of Grupo Noventai Tres that was unveiled when the class turned 25 and hosted the 58th General Alumni Homecoming in April 2018.*
