The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI awarded a plaque of recognition to Carlos Hilado Memorial State University for being the 4th Top Performing School in the November 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination, during the 2nd CHED Regional Quality Awards held at the West Visayas State University Cultural Center, La Paz, Iloilo City on May 19.
The ceremony was in celebration of the 3rd National Higher Education Day and CHED’s 29th Foundation Anniversary.
Vice President of Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas, EdD and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Program Chairperson Engr. Michael Forton received the award on behalf of the university.
CHMSU garnered a passing rate of 86.21 percent in the said licensure examination, and its graduate, Jefferson Cafino, placed 10th among the 8,209 passers.*
