Twenty-two of the 32 Election Officers (EOs) in different towns and cities of Negros Occidental, who have been reshuffled, have assumed their respective positions effective January 19, in compliance with the January 11 order issued by Comelec chairperson Sheriff Abas.
Prior to assumption of their respective posts, Atty. Roberto Salazar, former Aklan provincial Comelec supervisor, assumed the position as the new provincial Comelec supervisor of Negros Occidental. He temporarily replaced Ian Lee Ananoria, who was reassigned to Iloilo.
The Comelec finds the temporary transfer of poll election officers in the best interest of the commission, particularly in furthering efficiency, competence integrity and absolute impartiality within the government agency.
Spared by the reshuffling were Election Officer Babylen Wong of Ilog, EO Junelyn Alcapa of Isabela, Toboso EO Maria Aprille Perater and Pulupandan EO Regie Rose Ilustre; while Kim Diosana was designated as acting EO of Manapla, Edna Patriarca as EO of Binalbagan, Romeo Palma as EO of La Castellana, Renato Patriarca as EO of Pontevedra, Corazon Villaceran as EO of Don Salvador Benedicto and Larry Belos as EO Calatrava, all in an acting capacity.
Affected by the reshuffling were Atty. Kathrina Trinio Caña, who was reassigned from Bacolod City to San Carlos City, Atty. Jan Anthony Saril from Bago City to Kabankalan City, Riza Bayona from Binalbagan to Hinigaran, Rolando Genito Jr. from Cadiz City to Bago City, Agnes Roullo from Calatrava to Escalante City.
Ron Bernandez from Candoni to Hinobaan, Jesusa Elena Paler from Cauayan to San Enrique, Mary Ann Davila from Don Salvador Benedicto to Talisay City, Atty. Ivan Mark Amazona from Himamaylan City to Sagay City.
Elmer Era from Hinigaran to Valladolid, Arlene Pia from Hinobaan to Candoni, Atty. Jonna Cabanilla from Kabankalan City to Cadiz City, Atty. Revo Sorbito from La Carlota City to Bacolod City, Rodel Gonzales from La Castellana to Victorias City.
Jesus Mondito Gaston from Moises Padilla to EB Magalona, Phoebus Teruel Jr. from Pontevedra to Murcia, Atty, Ryan Deldo from Sagay City to Sipalay City, Ma. Vicel Diancin from San Enrique to Cauayan, Atty. Adrian Arellano from Sipalay City to La Carlota City, Atty. Ainee Tañeza from Talisay City to Silay City, while Marcos Pelagio Cordero was transferred from Valladolid to Moises Padilla, and Atty. Fatima Aspan from Victorias City to Himamaylan City.*
