Deaf Victorias lass wins bowling bronze in Kuala Lumpur

Victoriahanon national athlete Jackie Lou Suarez clinched the bronze medal in the Bowling Women’s Doubles Event in the 1st SEA Deaf Games held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, November 23.

Suarez teamed up with Maria Lovella Catalan. They finished the match with 2,028 points.

She is a resident of Barangay III, Victorias City and a member of Victorias Deaf Club.

In a statement issued by the City Public Information Office, Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez congratulated both Suarez and Catalan. At the same time, Benitez also expressed his gratitude to the Victoriahanon athlete for bringing commendable honor to the City.

The ongoing SEA Deaf Games will run until November 27.*
