The Bureau of Fire Protection in Bacolod City has lined up various activities this month in celebration of Fire Prevention month with the theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa!”
The celebration will kicked off with a motorcade around various streets of Bacolod City at about 6 a.m. today.
It is followed by fire safety lecture/symposium at the Negros Cooperative Bank on March 7 and at the Education and Training Center School 1 on March 9; and a bloodletting activity at the BFP station on March 21.
An exhibit of vintage fire trucks, and firefighting tools and equipment will be on display at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central on March 24 and 25 following an open house at the BFP station on March 23.
A sacred mass will be held at 9 a.m. on March 31 at the BFP station to cap the month-long celebration of Fire Prevention Month. The BFP in Bacolod City is headed by City Fire Marshal Chief Insp. Rodel Legaspi.*
