
The Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacolod Central Office together with seven fire sub-stations have been recently awarded Safety Seal Certifications by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Bacolod City.
The five fire sub-stations in Bacolod City awarded by the Safety Seal inspection team last March 11 were the Lopez Jaena, Mansilingan, Libertad, Pahanocoy, and Rodriguez Fire Sub-Stations.
The evaluation of the cross-point inspection team was led by DILG representatives May Theresa Malongayon, Bessy Jean Dellomos and Emelyn Pelaez together with SPO4 Jacob Montoya of the Philippine National Police and BFP representatives FO1 Alan Plantillo and FO1 Joanzen Estrella, Benefits Morale and Welfare Section chief and Welfare Section chief, respectively.
Earlier, the Bacolod City “Central” Fire Station together with the Granada and Sum-ag Fire Sub-Stations have also received Safety Seal Certifications last Feb. 9. BFP-Bacolod was represented by Bacolod City Deputy Fire Marshal Insp. Mark Angelo Calindong, FO1 Alan Plantillo and Public Information Officer FO1 Paul Servano as members of the inspection team.
Bacolod City Fire Marshal Chief Insp. Rodel Legaspi lauded the collective efforts of the BFP Bacolod personnel for adhering to minimum public health standards and for the use of the StaySafe App to help contain the spread of COVID-19.*
