Negros Occidental is vying for the EXCELL Awards of the Department of Interior and Local Government in Western Visayas for year 2022.
Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz revealed yesterday that Negros Occidental is among the top three provinces competing for the EXCELL Awards in Region 6.
The EXCELL awards of DILG recognizes best managed LGUs in Western Visayas, in terms of their best practices, achievements and innovations in governance, administration, social services, economic development, environmental management and local legislation.
A DILG team is arriving today in Negros Occidental for the final screening and judging.
On the part of the Provincial Administrator’s Office, Diaz said they will present the Capitol Cab Service of the province and the One Hospital Command system, while the Provincial Agriculture Office and the Provincial Environment Management Office, will have to present their best practices being implemented in their respective offices.
“Hopefully Negros Occidental will have another award, which also be used to justify and support the Performance Based Bonus for our employees,” Diaz added.*
