The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office topped the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for the month of June among eight major police units of the Police Regional Office 6 in Western Visayas.
The PRO6 major units are being rated monthly based on the different parameters, PLt. Amiel Arvin Sunico, newly-designated NOCPPO spokesman, said yesterday.
Sunico reported that NOCPPO garnered 86.70 percent average and bested seven other major units under PRO6.
He added that NOCPPO performed well in the field of Operations and Intelligence.
NOCPPO was followed by the Capiz Police Provincial Office with 86.30 percent, while the Iloilo Police Provincial Office ranked third with an 85.70 average.
PCol Romy Palgue, NOCPPO Officer-In-Charge, congratulated police personnel of NOCPPO for a job well done and for their dedication to duty that translated into good performance evaluation rating.
He also cited the implementation of Negrense C.A.R.E.S… Challenge, Admire, Respect, Encourage and Support program in the province.
Palgue challenged the NOCPPO cops and supporters to stay on top not for recognition but for a safer and peaceful Negros Occidental.*
