Anti-drug operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office arrested four persons and seized P271,680 worth of suspected shabu in three separate buy-bust operations on Thursday.
At around 9:45 p.m., Albert Oñates, a street-level target, was caught selling shabu by the enforcement team of Police Station 4 in Purok Bulak, Barangay Mandalagan.
The 31-year-old suspect yielded five sachets of shabu weighing about 17 grams and valued at P115,600, along with a pack of suspected dried marijuana leaves and a marijuana plant, and P500 in marked money.
An hour before his arrest, personnel of Police Station 1 arrested two suspects in Purok Dughan, Barangay 10, identified as Ana Marie Dacones, 42, and Vincent John Martinez, 28.
Operatives recovered 12 plastic sachets of shabu, weighing 6.76 grams with a street value of P54,080, P300 in proceeds money, and drug paraphernalia.
Earlier at around 5 a.m., Marc Plary Bayonita, 36, a high-value individual, was arrested at Arnaldo Street, Purok Kahirup Village in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
During the operation conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit, the suspect yielded about 15 grams of shabu, with a market value of P102,000.
Bayonita was detained at Police Station 8. All suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*PNA
