The city government of Sipalay has again extended the ban on tourism-related and non-essential travel to the city until October 15.
In an executive order signed by Mayor Maria Gina Lizares Wednesday, she said that in response to the general community quarantine status of Bacolod City, the local government and its Inter-Agency Task Force deemed it necessary to complement the resolution by extending the moratorium.
She said that Sipalay will not accept tourists until new guidelines, systems and protocols are in place.
The ban on tourists to Sipalay started on August 14.*
