Still no classes in EB Magalona, Bago City

The suspension of face to face classes in Bago City and EB Magalona in Negros Occidental has been extended until today due to the prevailing southwest monsoon.

Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo, however enjoined schools to conduct online classes.

In EB Magalona, Mayor Marvin Malacon announced that work in government offices will continue, despite the suspension of classes in all levels.

State weather bureau PAGASA issued yellow rainfall warning in Candoni, Sipalay City, Cauayan, Ilog, Kabankalan City, Himamaylan City, Binalbagan, Isabela, Hinigaran, Moises Padilla, La Castellana, Pontevedra, Hinoba-an, La Carlota City, San Enrique, Valladolid, Pulupandan, Bago City, Bacolod City, Talisay City, Silay City, Enrique B. Magalona, Victorias City, Murcia, Manapla, Negros Occidental.

Yellow warning means possible flooding in low-lying areas and near river channels.*
