Two men found guilty of drug offenses were arrested Wednesday and yesterday and will serve jail terms in Bacolod City.
A widower was arrested in Purok Tinagong Paraiso, Barangay Banago in Bacolod City, at about 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Station 3 operatives nabbed Rolly Gumabras, 39, of the barangay, who had been sentenced to six months and one day of imprisonment and ordered to pay a fine of P10,000 with subsidiary imprisonment in case of insolvency, by Bacolod Regional Trial Court, Branch 45 Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin, police records show.
Jose Mari Jimera, alias “PG”, 37, was arrested by members of Police Station 1 in Purok Malipayon, Brgy. 35 in Bacolod, at about 6:10 p.m. yesterday, on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Bacolod RTC Branch 54 Judge Eduardo Sayson, who had sentenced him to two years imprisonment, police records show.*
